exhaust

you could peel one off a junkyard car or just hit up Midas or the like for an OEM replacement system.
On the other hand, a Pacesetter performance exhaust is only about $150 from www.nopi.com.
There has been alot of discussion regarding the quality/endurance of the Pace exhaust, but from my experience, it was a perfect fit and has lasted 5+ years and counting in CA. A more seasonal state may terminate it pre-maturely. YMMV.

yea u hit that right on the money i think. apparently the pacesetter has a harder time dealing with salted roads than the stock exhaust?? i dunno really but it seems that way according to others who have had pacesetter's catback. I'm still contemplating on doing it or not considering i live in a place where it snows ~3-4 months out of the year.

Pacesetter SUCKS, my piping rusted at the flanges = bitch getting it back off, and that pretty black coating doesn't last a month. The muffler isn't as free flowing or louder as a universal Apex'i N1, so if you want, pay 175 plus S&H for good for nothin piping (if you live up north) that comes with a muffler which I wouldn't even consider a bonus, or go to monroe's and get yourself some custom mandrel bent 2.25 piping for cheaper, and buy a decent muffler for cheap too.

pacesetter exhaust blows *******... my muffler sounds like a kazoo on crack, the whle system is rush bent instead of mandrel, and now my 4-2-1 header is comin loose from the block repeatedly, as well as my exhaust manifold gasket goin to ****.. and this is all after 2 weeks of drivin the car semi-hard. cept for the sound, which is ALWAYS gonna sound bad until i can get a temporary generic fartcan on it... i dont mind the pipng so much, but i still want to go with stainless mandrel bent... just gotta save up the $$.
