Hello everyone, I just bought a Mazda 3s touring on Dec. 31, 2012. Twice the surround sound of the stereo has "muffled" for lack of better word. The first time I took it to the dealership and was inspected for a whole day and apparently nothing is wrong. Last week the car wouldn't start and had to call the dealership for assistance but was referred to mazda assist instead. Ended up jump starting it and took it to the dealership. Was inspected for two days and there is "nothing" wrong with it. I am posting this message so in case anybody else is having the same problem can read it and find out what is going on. Or if anybody can comment on similar situation I will appreciate it. Every time I go to the dealership, the service personnel make fell like I am crazy because there is "nothing" wrong with the car.
It is brand new and I am thinking on exercising the Texas Lemon Law if this persists.

Hi Jarrod if you had a problem with the Radio have them check the amplifier for the radio. have had a couple bad from the factory. it will stay alive after the ignition is off and can cause the battery to drain

I just bought a 2013 Mazda 3 and it seems to have a similar problem. I've driven it every day except the last two. It's been in the garage. My husband went to drive it and it was totally dead. Nothing was on. He had a friend jump the cables, it started, he let it run for nearly half an hour. Then he turned it off and it went dead again. We had the dealer come and haul it away for analysis and repair. So far, they can't find any problem except a massive bleeding of the battery from something.
Did you ever find out what was wrong with your Mazda? I'd love to know, as I checked out this car for 6 months before deciding to buy it and I actually love the little thing.
