DAMN switch!!!

you know that switch that prevents you from starting your car in gear on automatic trans? It was stuck down and I thought I had major electrical problems. Turns out that the switch was frozen and prevented me from starting my car.

all i did to make it work, was put the key in, and go through the gears a few times very fast

Damn cold weather..

switch could be or not be frozen.. but it is INFACT electronically controlled and is linked into the top left fuse (K) on your fuse panel (labled STOP in the owners manual). so if your horn or brake lights ever stop working, or that happens, you know it's the fuse.
peace

yea it was in fact the switch or something related to the shifter (auto trany). Fuses were ok.

Since i had gone through the gears a few times I must have loosened it up where it's not giving me a problem. It must have been that 10 degree night we had last week.

Now i'm having a problem turning the ignition., but i just shake the steering wheel and it's ok. Seems like something needs to be adjusted.
