Damn PS Pump

Damn PS Pump
Damn. My PS pump locked up today. Somehow, a bolt came out of the front of it and got lodged between the pulley and the pump. I think the pulley may be bent because it appears cocked.
I don't have time to fix it either- I have to work tonight, and tomorrow morning I am leaving (with the car) to KY. I'm bringing my tools, so I may fix it while I'm in KY (dislodge the bolt, replace it and get a new belt).
Not to mention it's been below zero here for the past few days, so working on my car outside is not an option. IT'S ******* COLD!

take the belt off , and just leave it there without PS.
Dont take any hoses off, keep it full of fluid so it doesnt cease up. If u get a knife just cut the belt off, so u dont have to do any crazy work outside.

Yeah I've noticed. Since I mostly do freeway driving it's not a big deal. I am in Kentucky at the moment (about a 650 mile drive) and I noticed about a 3-5 MPG increase as well.
I might fix it when I get back, though, because this is my daily driver car, and PS is nice to have. I know this car won't be as fast as my 11-sec '68 Dodge (or even my 15-sec Ford Focus that I previously owned for that matter) so I'm kinda more going for audio mods and MINIMAL power mods, making the car somewhat more enjoyable to drive yet keeping it reliable.
