Changed Clutch

last weekend we changed the clutch in my 91 dx it took about 2 1/2 days to complete and if u have worked on an some what of an old car u always end up spending more money than u think u will. i had to get the radiator fixed, buy new axel locking nuts, and getting the flywheel resurfaced. i was a b*t*h to get in those axel nuts off.

Axles nut off???

Why it is so difficult?

Just leave the vehicle resting in the floor, take the notch out of the nuts so they can rotate and then use a cheater bar and a little of TLC with spray nut loosener liquid fluid.

Taking the axles by itself out of the diff that is a hassle, be very careful not to mess up the tran housing with a prybar, etc.

Just go to www.cartalk.com and you will keep your car. There they show recalls, lemon brand new cars like the VWs or the RSX S that is famous for crakced camshafts.

I, prefer my 323 or like my buddies say, my "Go-Kart" with BP DOHC.

check it out with cam gears, rear rotors and lightened flywheel!
