Question Buying Tips

Wally here, I have finally found a possible Pro!!! Its a 92 LX - 5spd with 108,000. Its Ruby Mica with Grey int. I'm gonna go look at it this weekend (if its still for sale) and I was wondering what
are some things I should look for on the engine, and the interior, and the drivetrain, ect...

Thanx ppls.

Thumbs up SOUNDS like a good one!

I really can't think of anything to 'be on the lookout for'....if it 'feels' good, is in ok-dokey shape, and everything works; then there shouldn't be anything to be concerned about with these cars....

a common protege problem is the A/C click....when the A/C is running, u hear a loud continuous clicking sound, usually regardless of whether the A/C is bad or good. it will produce 15-20 clicks per second, and is non-stop as long as the compressor is on. I dunno what causes it, but it's ghetto, and u prolly have to replace the compressor or something to stop it.

You may find the seatbelt beep, but thats unavoidable, and a simple fix.

The miles are pretty low for a '92, so I am guessing that the car is in good shape..............
drive it around and afterwards it would be an easy decision

To Wil:

BS its not a common 1st gen pro problem....I've seen 3 other first gens doing it. I don't exactly see pros often, they aren't that common really.

I've NEVER seen any car besides a pro do it., so poo on u.
