High body is right they are the MR7's, and about the mesh; the other day i went to home depot and got a 7'X3' sheet of mesh for around $3.50. I definately wouldn't pay 50 or 30 from Autozone for it. And don't worrry it's not gonna rust. But if you buy from somewhere like Autozone you can have it in different colors. What i did with the grill is cut out the center honeycomb mesh, and traced the shape of the opening on a piece of cardboard. Then cut out the cardboard and bent the mesh around the cardboard to where the mesh would be in the shape of the opening in the grill. Then insert mesh into grill (which is gonna take a few tries to do without bending the mesh into weird shapes that are drastically ugly in the right lighting) and what i did was rivet it on with the mesh that was bent back to the inside of the grill. becareful what size rivets you use, if you even to decide to use rivets, because i cracked the grill in some minute areas from the rivets being to big. The first mesh i put in the grill i just bent around the back of the inside of the grill and it stayed in there perfect.

I don't know if you guys are familiar with the galant front bumper (the one that has the rectangular hole in the middle and the more rounder holes on the sides for the fogs) but i was thinking about putting the side holes on my bumper also but i don't think that there is enough room for them, but i will see because we also have a galant front bumper and i might go ahead and tear it up if it'll look right. But either way it should be done by TMRW night (i'll try to send the pics ASA i paint it)painted and all. but if no pics i'll have em Tuesday. I'm also gonna paint the mesh on the bumper and the grill a gunmetal color, so it matches the exterior theme, and i'm doing the interior in grey/black. I'll get pics of my seats installed and posted after i get 'em. And i'll try to post more pics of the car.

Highbody, this is what i get when i click on your link....We're sorry, we could not find the document that you requested. Please press back on your browser and try another link. Wow i just tried the addy in your sig and it worked, i think its the backslash you added on to the link?

Well guys, I haven't finished it yet, but all i have to do is primer, than paint. I'm not gonna paint it yet untill i finish the rest of the kit. I plan on getting some side skirts offa civic and make them fit, and for the rear bumper i'm not too sure yet, I think i'm just gonna order a lip and mold that on too. If you guys want i can post pics of the bumper as it sits it looks really good (alot better if it was painted tho). I put the mesh in allready and painted the mesh a gun-metalish color along with the grill. So as soon as i can get some batteries for my digital camera i'll take 'em. Oh the reason i'm gonna wait to paint it is 'cus i'm gonna repaint the whole car, the same color. I have a couple of minor dents, and a pretty big one on the right quarter panel from backing into a pole 2 months after i painted it, and on the driver side between the two doors some one hit my car with their door so paint is all chipped off on both doors. Well catch ya later. Oh and off topic i got a $10,000 sponsership from a company called Racer-X Motorsports, they're willing to pay 52 % on retail items, and 52% on labor hours...........so hopefully i'll be getting my KL-ZE put in soon.

Thanks, yeah stock bumper i'm holding out a little while before painting to see how well it holds up. Maybe i'll have to add more epoxy to re-inforce it 'cus we didn't use any rivets to reinforce it all the way around just in the two side air vent things.

hey tweeaks and high body thanks for the help. i had a feeling those were mr7's. i am looking at getting a set of those in silver fom summit racing because they have a pretty decent price. do you guys think that 17's will fit on my car? also highbody, i went to your link, but the second page didn't say anything about how you installed your mesh. thanks again.

it's good to know i'm not the only one to "rig" my car. i just put motegi mr17's on and i think they look sharp(kinda want a caddy). need the paint job though. thats in a few weeks. or maybe it was the mr15's. they look like the Ziegen Inperio F15... but cooler

and if ya wanna be ghetto you can buy some tight hole chicken wire at menards and make your mesh that way...i know most of us are pretty white trash that way.

Thanks gro, everyone tells me that it came out alot better than they thought it was going to. The color is an Aston Martin color. It's like Blue Mendip Mica I think......not really sure.

Mustang yeah like Gro said the 17's will be fine, the only thing about the MR7's is that they are kinda heavy, but then again if you want a light 17" wheel then they're gonna be kinda expensive.

that front lip looks pretty kool!!! the only thing is hopefully when ur front lip scrap it wont crak the bondo/epoxy...Looks good tho...

I did me a 99 Civic S I front lip but i didn't get it off, of a civic y ? well civic front lip is kind of expensive so i modify me a front lip which is made out of polyurethane which mean it wont crack or anything. no modification too all u need is srew in 6 srews then ur ready to go... it looks great looks exactly like the 99 S I and its about 1" so ur car is gonna look more lower...i would like to show the pic here but then i dont have a scanner or a digital camera so i dont have any idea how am i going to show u guys the pic...

Thanks 1ofdfew323

Well the other day a peice finally cracked. And then fell off.
It was just the glazeing putty (maybe 4" long 1/2" wide) though so thats good. I'm just gonna sand off the glazing putty and put some more Epoxy, which doesn't crack, useing it in place of the glazeing putty. The only thing is this **** is expensive, and i allready used up Two bottles, one of part A, and one of part B.

I think what u did or ur car is very unique and very creative. About ur idea of getting a civic side skirt i thought i was the only one who thought of that. I use to own 97 ex coupe civic and a 95 civic hatch...Im a Honda guy well was. Anyways im pretty sure i could try to fit one side skirt from a civic to my 323 i'll let u know later on.

so here's the custom front lip ......civic si look-a-like

Thanks man, you gonna make me.. j/k. So you figured it out. I'm assuming. Your lip looks good, you got any in better lighting? Any major modifications done to the lip to get it to fit? Are there any air dams in it, or just makes the bumper lower?
Oh, about the civic side skirts, they're too long for the pro by 5 inches, so probably by more on the 323???? Yeah a few of the guys i know have civics, well just honda's
. catch ya later.
