Automatic Seatbelts

Ok... the Protege that I bought does NOT have the driver's automatic seat belt working.

The thing is.. the guy that sold me the car told me that all he had done was "remove" a breaker so that the auto seat belt woudnlt work...

I try to check the electric breakers to see if I could make it work... but I only found ONE 15A breaker in the box... and this one is not bad.. as matter of fact, my passenger auto seat belts are working...

Anyone has any clues on how to make my seat belt work again ??

Seatbelts

Let me start by saying that I have no real idea. Having said that, in looking in my manual, there is a seatbelt control unit under the driver's seat that should just plug in. Also, my manual says the belt fuse is a 30A fuse in the box. Finally, there are some seatbelt connectors in the center console behind/under the parking brake. I have a connector unplugged there so that my seatbelt warning beeper doesn't just go off whenever it feels like it.

I hope this is of some help until someone who has dealt with this can reply. Good luck.
