2.5" to a 2.25"

2.5" to a 2.25"
For all those people who think bigger is better, it's not true. I had a 2.5" exhaust on my Pro and changed it to a 2.25" exhaust. Not only did I notice the change in the tone, but the throttle response was much, much greater. Go 2.25"or 2".

Yea, 2.5" on a low-power NA engine is a bit much. Especially on the auto, it really kills the bottom end. The 2.5" will make more peak HP, but 2.25" is a much better choice for a low-power application (drivability-wise).

I'm going to stick with the 2" stock pipe, which appears to be mandrel bent. I don't know if it's stainless or not, but it's in excellent shape for it's age. Of course, being in FL helps a lot too. My Borla ZX2 muffler is on it's way - can't wait!
