Ok, i need all input, if it be negative or positive. I have a 1990 Protege that i just got. Very clean, 5 speed, all around nice car. Some problems though. I have to get my axle boots replaced which isn't that bad. Then i find out that i have some leaks......
Cam Gear Box is leaking onto the timing belt, a rusty sorta clay is buildin up on the gear. Transmission fluid has a leak, and the oil has a leak. The engine itself is kinda leaking and rusty. Lots of leaks. But other than that the car is fine. Im faced with a dilemma. i wanna keep this car, but i don't know if im gonna put the money i spent on it( 2000) right back into the car. What should i do???

 

are you "mechanically inclined"? if it was my car, i'd tackle the leaks, one at a time.

 

I agree, tackle the leaks first.
