rear sway bar bushings
#2
How about the stock bar - is it solid or hollow?
I'm not 100% sure, but I thought I read somewhere that the stock bar is 21mm. If this is true, and the bar is also solid, does the ST bar make a noticeable difference (at only 22mm)? Will it still understeer?

ST Bars
Just thought I would also clarify that the ST front and rear bars are used in conjunction with the stock sway bars. I put an LX sway bar on my DX and I believe it is 19mm in diameter solid.

I found a Euro Performance shop locally and got BMW bushings for $.75 each....been on for 10 years and still going. I used new bolts from Home Depot and made sleeves out of brass tubing for a grand total of about $17

Darryl,
Does Pep Boys still have those end links? There isn't a store within a days drive of my home and I haven't been able to find them at our local stores. If they're still available, would you be willing to get me two sets and I'll send you some $$?

No i don't mind getting them for you, although i will need to make sure they are the right size....worst case is you use the factory bolts and sleeves, and just use the bushings from the kits...or use the factory bolts and sleeves to cut down the ones from the kit....i'll get back to you.

Thanks, I was just at the Mazda Competition site and they want $7.60 each for the bushings, and there are 8 of them! Ouch.
I noticed they also have stiffer lower control arm bushings, engine mounts, and more. I guess I'll finally break down and join to get some of the goodies.
I just ordered a set of ZX2 Tokicos, maybe now my car will stop bouncing (Eibach springs + standard KYB struts = sea sickness.)

you don't have to 'join' to get THOSE parts from mazda competition. anyone can get those; what you can't get without being a member is any of the stock factory parts through them.
I'm going to be redoing my whole suspension as well and will probably use their bushings, mounts, etc...
