is that ractive on up front the only one you have, or do you have one on the back too. cause i have heard that getting the front one causes the car to understeer because it is front wheel drive, but that if you get a rear one first, it works better than just a front. just curious to know because i am going to get one for my car soon.

Well I only have a upper front bar, i still do find that it allows me to make sharper turns faster with a bit more confidence. I don't drive on a track or high speed manuvers, so i can't really say much about understeer. I eventually will get a rear bar but not quite yet.

You can find them occasionaly, I got my mazdaspeed rear strut bar on there. It was listed under an escort gt so don't forget to search for that car too!

(I ended up paying waaay too much for it though, however its a mazdaspeed and its really rally nice, 1 piece construction, light weight, a nice bar!)

It feels really good, a lot tighter in hard turns. Im not sure if the rear mx3 brace will fit or not but the front will.

i just put my ractive strut bar on this past monday (along with some other ****) it's a lot more solid in turns. trying to see how it handled on doughnuts, i pinned the accelerator almost to the point of a tight spin where the tire wanted to roll under the rim of the car and i got the back end of my car to kick out, something i've never experienced in a fwd car. the car feels like it leans less, maybe doesn't pin me tight in a turn as i used to be able to get, but the damn body of the car doesn't place me deep into the passenger's shoulder or into my door panel (depending on which way i'm spinning the car around ) so basically, yes, it does induce an understeer characteristic only having a front strut bar and no others. my suggestion is the rear and front bars on your car, one simply isn't enough for having the heart of an auto-x'er. i sometimes think i am, but then realize... i can't afford the tires for auto crossing, nor the performance items i would need.
peace
