Well, OK, I really did get the muffler (I got it brand new for $20 shipped (<3 for eBay)) but I am not expecting to see any gains.

What size is the stock exhaust?
1 1/2" i believe, or at least thats what was on the 323...

Thanks. I need an adapter. I'm ricing my pro out simply because I figure I have a 10-sec car already (my '68 Dodge), and the Pro is really only a "long-term-temporary" ride until I can afford another Focus.

I can't picture a dual-tip on a Pro... I got the single 4.5" tip.

When I was deciding, I figured duel tips would be quite nice looking. No, no pics, but very soon.

your stock dx piping should be 1 7/8ths dual walled piping (ie one pipe inside of another to lower exhaust temperature & resonance). 2 inch mandrel bent or 2 1/4 crush bent.. to 2 1/4 mandrel or 2 1/2 inch mandrel bent is all i'd recommend if you're not running any boost.. anything bigger than that, it's going to suck so much low end it won't be funny. as far as cat's, i'd recommend a hi flow cat.. etc etc.. but as far as back pressure... it's just a myth
peace

Iam running a flowmaster muffler which usually costs $100 installed. they dont sound too bad and they work great. also hollow out your cat that will help some more hp plus it looks legit to the cops instead of a straight pipe

eBay, and yes it's APC... and that's $20 SHIPPED. I only paid $6.50 for the muffler... BRAND NEW!

My exhaust is avout to fall off. It's hangin down real low... and it's rusted though. I might just go kick off the part that's hangin low so it odesn't screw up the rest of the exhaust, or fall off while I'm drivin and mess up my car.

I called a local muffler shop, they said $110 for a 2-1/4" system (I'm assuming crush bent). I'll supply the mufflers (a good ol' cherry bomb and my fart cannon).
