Question Tranny question

OK my hold light is blinking, but my tranny isn't messing up that I can tell. It does have too much tansmission fluid. Can that make the hold light blink?

I've seen my hold light flash before, but I did notice problems (not engaging in 1st/rev right away mostly). Although it would flash only while I was stopped. I found this while looking at the FAQ.

http://web2.airmail.net/theman/prote...000001204.html

My tranny is done for. Sometimes I would have it revved up to 3,000 rpm b4 it would start rolling along. I had to make use of the hold function otherwise it would shift randomly, making it hard to accelerate. Also it won't shift from 2nd to 3rd giving me a top speed of about 50mph (if I want to drive around @ 5,000 rpm!).

Hopefully my buddy will help me swap it out.

Did you watch the fluid level? When it slips like that it usually means the fluid is low...anyways, it's probably screwed now...

Mine usually works great...as long as it has fluid... the problem is it just keeps leaking out
