SOHC valve springs

Anyone know if there are any valve springs that I can use, other than the sohc ones, for my sohc? I'm looking for something that will prevent valve float. Also, are there any lifters I can use, such as from a miata? I'm going to get a custom cam from Shadbolts, so any info would help.

With the BP its kinda not worth staying SOHC. Go find yourself a nice donor and take the DOHC BP head. Or.... if you have the money I think Braden can get a really nice P&P DOHC head with stiffer springs and all the goodies you could need.

but....

Braden also has completely P&P SOHC with upgraded spings and stuff capable of performing in the 8000 plus rev range. Stick to the Sohc project bro.
Peace.

I guess if you really do want to be different you can stay with the SOHC, but there are other things to consider if you plan on building a boosted SOHC....

I don't want a turbo on my SOHC. If you're just going to come in here and say that building up a SOHC isn't worth my time and that I should switch to DOHC, then don't reply at all. I don't want to hear what you have to say.
