Performance Valve Springs, Titanium Retainers

Anyone know where I can find some high performance valve springs and titanium retainers? Id love to rev 7200 thousand without worries, especially with some of my new "tricks"......

The BP doesn't make any noticable power above 7000RPM without some actual engine mods (in other words... tweaks and non-direct-engine mods like you have don't count). Also, advanced ignition lowers your peak HP. In other words, don't bother to raise your rev limit with your current mods.

why bother with that ,,
making real power involves improving the power within the power band,...
that is where the respect is

In terms of FI I would like to know the same thing, I had valve float problems on my last car and I must say it sucked to be stuck at 15psi. I guess I'll go see what I can find at mx-3....

OK, in case u guys just HAVE TO do it, lol, the stock BP valves are good for upto 8000 RPM (according to Gude Racing). Also, valve floating shouldn't be an issue at 7500RPM. Miatas with the BP hit 7.5K easy. Actually.... with extensive high rpm use, the thing u have to worry about would be the lifters.

you might want to look at a 95+ (or is it 99..) miata head for getting some valve springs. They are considerably stiffer than the regular valve springs in the protege/escort heads. If I'm not mistaken, I think that Braden from BLT was running a miata head on his turbo'd protege, and didn't have many problems.

In fact, the whole head would bolt right on, and I think the only thing necessary to mod is a coolant line or something like that..
