personally DX's arnt that slow.
Ive added an intake...still cant see a difference in "get up and go" speed. But makes a sound difference. u can also bolt on a turbo. and get straight piped exhaust (illegal in most states). or u could get an engine swap.

ive seen an MX6 engine swap. taking the V6 outta the MX6 and puttin it into a protege. looks pretty bad ***. ill post the link!...when i find it

I have a 94 Pro LX.... At abt 90mph, the car starts vibrating...not too much, but a little... is that usual?

ull mite think im stupid, but im just a newbie, so help me out here...

im thinking of turbo'ing my car too... though the problem is, its an auto. though i still think it'll do some good on the car.
what are the advantages and disadvantages of turbo'ing the car??

bad alignment / tires are the most likely reasons for instability at higher speed....

Thumbs up Per making your P1 go faster...

First, remove the stock exhaust system and replace with 2.25" catback design, or mandrel bent exhaust system complete with resonator (at front) and say... your choice of muffler: Dynomax, or Magnaflow at the rear.

Now that you've got the gases OUT you must get MORE AIR IN. Try either a conical filter conversion coupled with a K&N Filtercharger,... OR do what I did: I removed the noise chamber that you will find running from your stock air box, and inverted the rubber neck Downward to draw cooler air from behind the bumper skin (you can use some Choke Pre-heater flex-tubing that you can obtain from any automotive store, usually made out of ribbed flexable aluminum) and you will have to route it down behind the bumper skin. A Note Of Warning: DO NOT DIRECT THE HOSE DIRECTLY INTO THE AIR FLOW AS THIS CAN SUCK UP WATER IN A BOUT OF RAIN, AND FOUL YOUR INJECTORS. This has been working well for me and has produced noticeable results.

The next step I took was to increase the 'FIRE' to the engine by the addition of a Jacobs FC-1000 Fire Control ignition module and secondary trigger complete with C4 Jacobs coil and 8.5mm ingition wire set. Awsome power and mileage increases! Also, try indexing the sparkplugs: This indexing kit is available from most 'speed' shops.

Good hunting! Go see this ite too: www.groharlem.tripod.com Very informative dudes!
Racing in a Honda is like racing in the special olympics, even if you win... your still retarded
