tell me please with alot of work will a newer protege motor fit in my 92 protegedx?

what all do i need to replace to install a 2.2 out of a probe gt?

Alot of money and time.
Don't bother. Ask Protoss. He did it, it still isn't running, I think he scrapped the project infact.
If you want a turbo, go with a BPT. The engines are plentiful and the swap is fairly straight forward assuming you got everything you need.
