Lx ecu with sohc

Hey can i run an lx ecu with a sohc, i know it may sound a little dumb but is this actually possible to do.

Well, if you have the 16-valve SOHC and if you do manage to get everything hooked up, it would run. Don't know if performance would suffer or if you would actually gain a few ponies. One thing for sure, is the check engine light will always be on because you don't have VICS on the SOHC engine.

That's all I can think of off the top of my head right now.

Is it a simple connection or do i have to do anything special. I thought it was only 1 relay to the ecu.

Can't say for sure unless I had the shop manual in my hand.
I'm going to be swapping wiring harness/ecu in about a month or so, so I'll let you know of the differences I come across.
