Angry Get off the line quicker!!!!!!

i have a dx protege automatic and i was wondering what I could

buy that would make me accelerate off the line quicker. I know

that many of you say the MSD ignitions dont do a thing but a

couple reviews i read said there car got off the line a littl quicker

and got better mid range torque. Is it just mazdas that MSD

ignitions dont work for or what?????? and also if u can think of

anything that will help me get off the line quicker post it.

there is a HOLD buton on ur shifter
put the car in LOW or 1st and press the hold button this will let u redline your car a little bit more in each gear
giving u a faster start and quicker run on a 1/4 mile

Mike DeHart told me bout the hold button. thats what its there for. And he uses it when he runs 1/4 mile times. It deffinatly shouldnt hurt the tranny...

therfor thats why they got it there right???

Take it from me do not use that hold button in low gear too much because lets face it the reason why i got a 5 spd instead was because of the poor lauches i was getting off the line with my dx auto, i mean i went through 2 transmissions in 5 1/2 months so be very careful with your tranny. Like jesse said torque converter and nitrous would help

hold button

dont use the hold button for shifting. i did that **** and my tranny died in 2 weeks. but the good thing is that it was already kinda messed up. it was weak, had to drive lil harder to move =P yeh from what someone explained to me, if you use the hold button on first gear it will confuse the ecu, and that is not good. just puttin in what i know.
