Exhaust Tip

hey guys, the other day i bought a Pilot Motorsports exhaust tip at Wal-Mart. i decided to get it because i wanted to dress up my car a little bit and make it look good until this summer when i can actually start to modify it. anyways, the tip i bought bolts right on to my stock tip, and after i bought it i read the instructions and found out that the tip has a fiberglass resonator in it. i was just wondering what this will do to my exhaust sound, if anything, and i have also heard that resonators have a short break in period. as i said i bought this for looks, but if it can make my car sound any different that would be great because all my friends say that my car sounds like a weed whacker! lol. peace.
