Re: Engine Work

Almost always overlooked in out relentless search for more power and better ET's is even after all the basic mod's is imroving the juice, duh shpark!

Try this, it works very very well for me: Jacobs 8.5 mm ignition wires (only 200 ohms/ft resistance! and NO stereo interferance!) Add to this an FC-1000 Fire Control ignition module (683mj of wompum!, Stock is around the 13 - 20mj of spark per combustion event. All this equals a marked increase in power and torque. Then: make sure to index your spark plugs; that is go to your fave performance store and buy a set of indexing compression washers, then inquire about their use and installation, that is is you don't already know how. This little drag-racing trick will balance the power over oll four cylinders resulting in even and steady power and slight increase in mileage.
