Damaged the air flow meter!!

I found out why the car is idling like $hite, when I was revving the engine, it jammed the 'flapper piece' in the air flow meter. The dealer said $497 for a new one. Anyone wanna rob a bank w/ me now?? j/k!!

Another way too

I've been told that an R-X7 airflow meter will bolt in and work if you can't find a protoge in the junkyard. It just needs a little tweak of the metering screw and will add (?) a little to your powerband. (this is hearsay, I havent tried it yet)
