Camshaft timing on a DOHC...
I don't know if this was allready posted but i have searched here and in the internet but i don't find any information but here we go...
Hi everyone, I really need help! Yesterday I was trying with my dad to check the timing of the camshafts of my Pro 1991 1.8 DOHC and I have the Haynes manual but doesn't explain to much.
I want to know if the piston 1 is in TDC and the crankshaft is align with the timing notch, what marks I have to see in the exhaust and in the intake camshafts to be align?
In the Haynes are some drawings of the 1997-1998 1.8 DOHC, 1999 and later models of the 1.6 and 1.8 DOHC and even of the 1.5 dohc but i don't find any thing for the 1990-1994 1.8 Dohc aligment so, if someone can help me or tell me what to do, I really will apreciate!!! I don't know in this manual what is nearly or the same timing as ours... thanks... any coment I'll aprecite...
