auto to stick

I know this issue has been discussed before but what i want to know is can i hang my clutch pedal down there with the braket that is already down there or do i need another one. What else would i need to mod to make it work? I have a 94lx 5speed that i am getting the parts from so everything is there but i went to the trans shop and that was the only Q they had, they are willing to tackle the job ehen i am ready. I know what you are thinking whay dont you fix up the 94lx, i bought it off a friend that wrecked the back end of it, motor tranny still good, interior still good. I will be posting this to the parts for sale forum maybe this weekend after i start taking some things for my 93. So if interested in any trhing get ahold of me.

Actually, I didn't find any info with search. *shrug* Maybe I didn't use the right keywords.

As far as I know, you should be able to put the clutch pedal in no problem. I can run to my car and take a pic of it real quick. ...So you can get an idea of it. You'll need the master clutch cylinder and reservoir. You'll have to check the brake cylinder to see if it has the extra nipple that feeds the clutch cylinder the fluid it needs. If not, you'll need the brake cylinder reservoir, too.

I'll try and post the pics by lunch.

Later on.

There is a member on the Escort EZBOARD - Matt Miller - who swapped an auto for a 5spd on his Escort LX-E....I don't know, though, if he has the info listed somewhere.....
