323 sputtering

When I first start the car , and try to take off, the car will sputter , it does not want to accelerate and the sputtering causes the car to tottaly stall out on me at times (embarasing with people behind you). I did use some Regular (cheap) gas from Getty, for about 2 whole tanks.
I have not had the chance to crawl under the car to really take a look at what the problem was .
But I know I was test driving the car with my head leaning out the door and it sounds like it is coming from the exhaust. later tonight while bleeding my brakes again , I will look under to see if something is cloged or something ..

Mine did something similar not too long ago. Turned out to be the spark plugs, oil had gotten down in one of the wells. Not sure if it was from spillage or faulty gasket, but I havent had the problem again since I changed them out.

I am changing the plugs tonight, I hope that it is them.
Would cheap gas do this also?
What does a cloged cat sound like

i belive bad gas CAN do that i cant tell you why but my parents switched to the higher grade (premium) gas and their cars stopped bucking and staling and ****

i had the same problem with mine and it was spark plugs

the clogged cat i dont belive would sound like anything cause its so far up the system, i think it would just rob you of the cars umpf

Not sure what a clogged cat sounds like, but in my experience, your car will rev up realy slow, when you've got your foot to the floor.

OK guys thanks for all the replies ..
when changing the spark plugs , I noticed that the middle wire that runs over to the plug oin the other side of the VAF .. the plug on the spark plug wire was corroded and broken .. So I figure it was not getting the correct energy spark that the disy needed thus causing the car to spudr .. Well did the custom fix, being as the set of spark plug wires I got on ebay , that 5th wire was to short..
so I did the custom rig and it runs sweeet as ever now ..

thanks again guys
