Will 18 x 7.5 WHEELS fit???

I have a 2002 DX and I'm not sure if 18x7.5 WHEELS will fit comfortably without rubbing when I turn the wheel....or should I just go with 17"

No. 7.5 won't fit with 18's. Only 7's will.

I'm sure the 7.5" will fit with the right offset. I'll try and swing by Mazda to do some test fitments this week.

Talk to you later. If you shoot me the wheels you're interested in I'll run the fitments through my "Interpolation Machine" hehe and see what I can come up with.

Since you have a sedan and the same body as the MP3 you can run a 18,7.5 with a +45 offset or higher. This will be very easy for you to find.

Point out what you like and I'll hook it up.

My biggest concerns are:

Weight, Price, and style.

The best options are the Rotas.

Thanks, Rishie

I have 17,7.5 on my 2002 P5. The look great but rub a little in the rear with two people.

Yeah that's because of the offset, but has nothing to do with whether or not one could fit that size width under our fenderwells without rubbing.

I have 18x7.5" Tenzo RS5 on order, the highest they had was 42mm offset. Currently running GC coilovers, you saying that I'll have rubbing problems? Or something I can fix by fender rolling

yeah you'll be extremely close with that fitment. I think you'll rub. I know if you gain 2 or 3mm of clearance you'll be fine. So that's real close. Tire selection/ Brand, not size, can make a difference too. As different brands have different section widths.

Rishie

The sedans seem to have a little more room than the P5's.

Kinda sad that 3mm is going to give me problems.

If you can find out more info on it from me, or better yet, get me a good package deal on it, I am ordering them mid next week, the best offer I can find. Through up an offer with shipping/mounting/balancing/lugs included.

I'll find a way out of freaking 3mm.

What's the price you got on them? It's difficult on the Tenzo line because there are some internet ****** out there.

I'm assuming you really want those wheels. I can get them machined down to a +45 offset for $150.00 estimated. I need to make sure it's doable.

Thanks, Rishie

e-mail me your best price along with the tires they're selling you.

We got other wheels to that you would probably like.
