What is the biggest wheel possible on a P5 without having to modify anything?

18"x7.5" with 48mm offset running 215/35/18 tires. The 48mm offset is KEY!!!

You can run 19's if you want. Sean[wheelguruu] was running these on his MP3 and I think Rishie test fit some 19's on his Protege5 as well. But hey, I'm not all up on the wagon side of things anyways

it is really all on what your going for? i had the same problem deciding. 18 looks great... but there could be more to bother with. than you want to. well. for me at least. i live in new orleans. pot hole king of the world.

19's will rub on the P5. The sedans have slightly more clearance and can better get away with larger wheels.

This is all about what you're looking for. If you're going for maximum bling factor, or are looking for more show, definitely go with 18s. If you want a wheel that will improve handling without adding extra weight while still looking good, buy the 17s. The other benefit of 17s is that you're not as likely to bust a rim on a pot hole. 18s aren't going to give you a larger contact patch - 215s are still the widest tire you can fit, so the choice is up to you.

I went with 17s because the volks le-37s weigh 14.5lbs (compared to 16lbs for stock) and are nearly bulletproof. I don't really care about the bling factor - the performance is more important to me. Of course, Volks cost a grip! 5zigen makes some quality light-weight wheels for about half the cost. Racing Hart makes some quality rims too. Most wheel manufacturers make heavy rip-offs of the quality rims. Remeber - Light is good!

I am aimig for both bling and performance. I was hoping for the OZ F1 Cup, but I am told they are discontinued. So, now I am looking at the Tenzo ST6.
I want a carbon color wheel with yellow writing. I have a yellow P5. I think that the black and yellow will look phat. Any suggestions on a wheel that meets those specs?

OZ F1 Cup are damn heavy too.
The only light OZ wheels sold to the public are the Crono Evolution, and Superleggera.

You can get Team Dynamics wheels in almost any colour you want with sticker packages. As another suggestion...
