I know this isnt about my protege but i need help with the tire size on my 96 mercury marquis. the size that is on there right now is 215/70/15 i need a tire size that will be wider but the same diamiter that the stock tire is.. THNX for the help.

Search the web for "tire size calculator"... there's a Miata site that has it.. it works for all cars though. It works by you entering your original tire size, and then you enter other tire sizes and see how much it affects your speedo. So just pick the width you want and then play with sidewall height or whatever to get the closest match possible.
