Unhappy Tire Howling!

Help! I'm a owner of a 2005 Mazda3s. With a serious tire dilemma. I have replaced my first set of tires for the same reason, tire howling. My Toyo Tires were cupped and feathered. I got a bunch of excuses why they made that noise, but no real answers.
At 8,400 miles you shouldn't be having this kind of tire noise. Rotating them often to wear the tires more evenlly did not help. So at 20,000 miles I purchased new Michelin
Pilots A/S. A good tire. With rotating the tires at 4,000 miles and a close eye on tread wear, all seems well. Except that several places could not get rid of tire vibrations that I was feeling since the tire rotation. at speeds of 50-55mph. only on the drivers side floor and
more than steering wheel. Okay, now I'm thinking something eles is going on with my car. So at 28,000 miles my car tires start the howling all over again, I go see my Belle Tire guys to have my tires rotated back to see if we can make the vibration go away. And what do you know, gone, rides like the day I purchased them, except the howling is still there. We tried to figure it out, I'm thinking something off with my car, but what? what could possible cause my tires to sound like a semi going down the road after 8,000 miles? Belle Tires crew heard them howl when i pulled into the lot at 15mpr or less! Can anyone give me a clue as what to check into. Tired of Tires!::

is it all four tires or one maybe. You may already know butt vibration is from bad balence miss placed weight or something worped wheel. howling may be tire type and lbs of presh in the tire too much may couse a wine. these may all be things you have adressed already and the tire guys should know. good luck. hope to have halped.

how do you find out what tire is howling? other than putting new set of tires on then one by one trying the old set out. right? my buds at belle tire tried for 4hrs to get it right. they warranty one tire at no cost to me, that was what makes a great company going that extra effort to make a customer happy. even though we could not fiqure out why after 8,ooo miles my tires howl. one or all of them, who knows. thanks for your thoughts . we checked the alignment, tire pressure, which is the nitro-nize nitrogen, no cupping, feathering, or uneven wear showing. i'm puzzled why. i drive my mazda like all mazda drivers do! the way their designed to be driven!!!

Cool a howling we'll a go!

my experience with my mazda 3s has been interresting. After taking my car into the dealership for howling noises and tire vibration, all i get for answers is its a common problem with the mazda 3s. How the heck is that. Its been fine until my tires reach 8,000 miles. and then the howling starts all over again. As the tread wears down, the tires will start to make that loud noise you hear. they all do that , is that true? do anyone eles have this problem? curious to know if any body is experience this?

Cool

Thanks for the tip! I'm going to the dearlership thursday fot vibrations coming from the front. Having motor mounts checked, Iwas told that this could be the cause. The new 2007 mazdaspeeds3 have a recall on the motor mounts, hopefully this all will be fixed!

Cool tire dilemma

well it was the not what i thought it would be. turned out to be the tires! all four were out-of-run! a term i never heard of before, learn something new ever time i go to a dealership. The Troy Mazda put my car on the rack put in gear and ran her at 45 mpr.
Showed me front tires wobbling like crazie! I then went back to Belle Tire and told them what the dealership found & they called Michelin. In 20 minutes I had 4 new tires ordered at full replacement with road hazard! I now have Michelin EnergyMXV 4 Plus,
these tires run about $170. I'm not sure if there a good fit for my car though, recently in a down pour my car felt like it was drifting, liked the pilots better for water traction.
My car might be to lite for these luxury car tires.( they come standard on Lexus, BMW,
Audi, high end luxury cars) why they gave me these is puzzling. Some vib is still there @54mpr. pretty much giving up on finding out the cause, (just can't drive 55 officer!!!)
THANKS for asking!, hope all is well with your ride!!!
