I'm new to this board and first post (ever). Just bought a 2003 P5. I what to put 18" rims on the car. If I follow the recipe do I have to lower the car. I don't want to or do I have to buy 17"

Hello Rick and Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to our Club. There are TWO BIG fridge'S in the corner with anything you can think of in them...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have.

make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom don't care....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.

NO...you do NOT HAVE TO lower the car....it may look better in many peoples opinion...but if you follow the recipe and use one of the suggested tire sizes (these sizes are very close to the stock size tire diameter) your wheels/tires will fit just fine...even if you DO want to lower it.

so just pick the size you want....either 17 or 18's....stick to the recipe...and you will be good.
