Been thinking about getting some 17's, but not sure in color. Should i stick with silver or would gunmetal look good on yellow? How bout white? If anyone has pics please post them thanks.

gunmetal would be very cool. there are a couple folks with yellow p5s on gunmetal or black wheels and they look great.

yup, gunmetal looks good but the effect is not as dramatic as on eg black or red cars. go for it though.

Although kinda an odd combination, I must say that yellow with bronze (with the right rim) would look awesome.

The most beautiful yellow P5 I have seen yet...

I too have a Yellow P5 and was a "bit leary" on installing the GunMetal ROTA's, at first I mounted up a set of "Silver" and while the color looked smokin on a bro's white P5, it did nothing for my car. Well.... the GunMetal color is AWESOME, in fact it's very similar to the one just above this post.

Check the Automotive R&D site out for photo of my gunmetal Protege5 (it's a bit old, but you'll get the idea).

Later, Speedbump.

yeah white wouldn't look very good with the yellow. the gunmetal does look good on darker cars, but the yellow doesn't look bad with it either.

Thanks for the comment nramsey. You just made my day! Glad you like my car so far. Now if I just had more money to do the rest of the stuff I want to do.

Yeah, I've always loved your P5 too. Good JDM style. Here's paul's pic: BTW these are 17's.

We'll have better pics tommorrow. He's added a few things that will be presented in Import Rev coming up.

Rishie

Hey yellow, did you have to roll your rear fender or anything?

Cool

Isnt chrome an option anymore? I think a set of chrome 8 spoke 17's would look tight on a yellow P5. I will post pics when it is done. :D Later.

Rishie, I was going to roll the fender, but after looking at it, there didn't look to be enough material to roll. Instead, I shaved out part of the wheel well to make things fit. I still get some rubbing under heavy load and during hard cornering though. I just need to shave a tiny bit more out to make things work better.
