need wheel offset help kinda quik
ok, i am going 2 work so i dont have time to exam all the search criteria,
a guy at work wants to trade me 18-7.5 velox silver wheels(215-35 yokahama parada's) with a offset of +45. and i have ground control coilovers lowered about 2 inches will they rub?
now i thought i remember that only the protege5's had to have a minimum of +48 but thought the sedans differed a little.
i told him i would tell him after work, that way i could come home and hopefully somebody helped me figure this out. or what the minimum offset i could have with a 7.5 inch wide wheel?
thanks in advance

ok, on break. i see not much info, would have done more research but this is a spontaneous impulse thing.
correct me if im wrong i have no idea. i have 7.5 inch wide wheel +40 offset now on my ride with no rubbing with room to spare, so if i am just plus sizing and my overall tire diameter isnt changing at all wouldnt i be able to have a 18-7.5 wheel with +40 offset if i wanted to.
now he says they might be +40 (dont remember), got me kinda worried. the wheels and tires are in mint condition, but this offset crap is driving me bloody nuts!
c'mon people wake up and help me for this goof ball changes his mind

Really, really silly question....
You work with the guy. Presumably, he knows how to find you. Why don't you bolt the wheels on to your car, drive around for a few minutes and actually verify if they rub?
