about Zexius XI-326, fraud
Just recently I purchased the Zexius XI-326 at Tires Les Schwab. They claim these tires are from Falken, but I looked it up on the web and even called the company and got no information saying those tires are manufactured by Falken.
1. Tires Schwab say the tires are made by Ohtsu, same maker as Falken. But this does not mean in any way the tire is a Falken because Falken does not sells it. AND the guys installed the thread V groove backwards, (that is one sloppy job).
2. Falken tires say in the tire itself; MADE BY OHTSU
3. I did a search on these tires, nothing about them.
4. The brochure handed by Les Schwab is very pretty but has no information saying where the tires are made.

* AND check this out; they are going to give me a full refund because they cannot back up the Falken fraud story! So today I am getting Falken 512 205/50/15.
UPDATE: The DOT states it is made by Ohtsu, but it is NOT a tire sold by Falken and it is not included in the catalog.
If I show you a tire that on the outside says Falken and the other tire says Zexius in the outerwall, (both cost the same);
*Which one would you choose? Even after knowing they are made in the same place. Companies pays thousands of dollars for the trademark name. It is fraud to use another company's name without having the proper authorization.
I have had calls, emails, from Ohtsu tire harrasing me about the tires that Zexius is a Falken. I allready have my money back after using the tires for three months. Its just fraud, Tom from Ohtsu is furious that somebody noticed this awesome fraud.
SEARS TIRE CENTER just installed the FALKEN ZIEX 512 (not ZEXIUS) 205/50/15 and these babies are insanely good on the road. It takes extreme effort to make the car loose traction. Highway speed is smoother, road noise is minimized and the difference is from night to day from Falken ZIEX to ZEXIUS.
I highly recommend the Falken Ziex 512.
I submitted my case to the Better Business Bureau and I was finally able to get my money back. I thanks the BBB there support and help.
