19" Tires on a MP5

I am getting 19" wheels. I need to know if anyone has seen them on a MP5? Also, has anyone ran a 225/40-18 tire? That tire is .2 inches smaller diameter than the 19" tire i want. I want to run a 225/35-19 Toyo which is 25.2" diameter. I currently have 215/35-18's on may car. Email me at Relaxed5@att.net if you can help!! Thanks

yo

i dont think you shoud get 19" rims cause i know you'll have a hard time to make them fit. i know that cause i got 18's on mine and my tires rub evrytime i hate a bump at a fast speed or going up a drive way....but its also cause my car is lowered.

That's nothing to do with the circumfrence of your rim. That's your offset. Shave the backpad if you can and you'll get enough +offset to clear that rubbing I bet.

i know thats in the off set of the rim but its hard to find the right one specialy on a big size rim like 19". the offset on mines are 7.5" and i wanted to get 7" so that i can dump it even more, but it was impossible to find the right one with the right lug pattern and the right design i wanted.... and i did shave the lip inside the fender and it still rubs somehow going up driveways. seems like the back it thinner than the front cause i dont have any problems with it and its also lower than the back. so if you can find 19x7 or 19x7.5 that you like, get them.

You're talking about width. A 7.5" width. Not the offset.

Sean [wheelguru] has 19" Giovanna's on his. Dropped with JIC coilovers I do believe. See if Richie[ARDP5] has any more information on it.

xtrm,

Before you make a potentially fatal mistake I suggest finding out some specs or at least tell me the wheel you want to run. At the most you will end up running a 215/35/19. That is even taller than stock O.D.
