i'm biased. White for me was always a bitch to keep clean.
Silver hides the dirty better LOL

Thanks Sandman. Sure is nice to see all the enthusiasts on the boards.

It must be a bug with the P5 but I want to do some mods to it already. I think I have the right thing to do though. When I had it out last night after its first drive, my foot slipped off of the clutch so I think my first investment will be some new pedal covers with more agressive grips. I'll see what is available in the shops.

Also found out something interesting last night. A firend of ours also has a new P5 and he had heated leather seats installed. However his is slightly different from my set in that I have heat up the seat back and the bum whereas he only has a bum warmer. Hmmm, must be where the dealer gets his installed. Love mine though.

Cheers
Chris

I drive a red one, and to me it's the only color I like. However, I work at a Mazda dealer, and I would really prefer the silver. If you've ever seen the silver close up, when it's clean, it's like no other. I really admire sunbyrne's car and the way it shines.

Just my $0.02

I agree with Richard. They're cool looking, but WAY to rice for my liking.

Cool

Hey I just purchased a 2002 MP5 Yellow with tinted windows, moon roof and bug deflector . I like the silver one but there are too many silver cars these days. I didn't even know you could get a white MP5...or a white mazda for that matter.

Where I got mine the only colors available were blue, red, black, sivler, and I was lucky enough to get a yellow one. I would go with the white!

Check out the mazda.ca website... they have the white on there now... they didn't last year

Just curious but does the canadian version of the pro5 already come with tinted windows? It just seems like the glass is darker than the american ones.

It's a mild greenish tint...open your door and stick a sheet of paper behind the door glass, half behind it and half sticking up...then you'll see the colour.
I never noticed that! Now i'm gonna have to try this out when I go outside today!

Hi Richard

I did not think my windows had a tint but then again I can only check the front ones as all my rear windows are tinted. I'll have to try that paper trick. As far as I know it is not stock here in Canada but an option.

As for those pedals, I think I agree with you. I finally figured out what your little smiley was doing. I saw another set with pretty much no colour but lots of grip.

Cheers.

Weird, I thought the tint was stock.

It's meant for keeping heat out supposedly.

But the tint ( i think it is the tint at least) is polarized! =) =). You can see it pretty easily when u put on some polarized shades. It's on all but the windshield.

A lot of cars have them. I thought it was sort of like a standard thing that every car get started from a few years ago.
