New Meets (Calgary area)

New Meets
Hey guys; I went for a drive today and I ended up in Cochrane. Anyhoo, as I was getting some gas, I scouted out "Cochrane Ranch". Who has been there? There seems to be ample parking room though. I thought this might be a good spot for another meet someday. Maybe I'll bring it up in 6 months when it gets warmer. What do you people think? Could maybe go out to Drumheller too but I don't know where we can settle in...

you know with all the stuff you guys are planning, you really should think about making it more official. As Dion has already found out, you have something going with Northhill Mazda? So there is the start of your club. Edmonton's club is off the ground. You just need a couple of people to do the guiding. Hmmm, Dion?

Hey you guys can count us in for a Calgary Club.
A Cochrane trip sounds fine except for the fact that the Ranch is supposed to be closed/closing.
Doesn't stop anyone from going there for Ice Cream, I hear it is legendary. Haven't sampled it as of yet as my wife hasn't taken me there yet.

Ummm, I will check into it further but there have been rumours in Cochrane that the Town is having trouble fianancially affording to keep it running. There is a Provincial park no too far North of Cochrane and lots of other beautiful roads and scenery. Fortunately for me it is my job to drive around all that beautiful country.
But I will check in further.
