awkward idea that came to mind

do you think it would be cool if people from other clubs (toyota matrix, Focus ZX5, our club p5, and civic sir) all got together? maybe we can have a big meet or something and see what other people have done to their car even though they are not protege's but protege's competition!

Are you going Coocoo? No way. I don't associate with ours that have 'stupid' cars. J/K. That would be fun, but how would we do it?

The Celica Club in Edmonton had a similar event last year "Salute to the Rising Sun",very poorly attended. The only car that got any attention in the paper were the Miata's. Not much support in helping planning it or even trying to get sponsors to donate prizes.

We tried that in Toronto. Turns out that most folks from the protege club hung out together, so not much different than regular club meet. Some of those other cars do provide a great source for laughter!
