I'll try and show up for this meeting to meet all the local guys. Only have my silver LX as the 90 is leaking coolent all over the garage floor (waiting patiently for the new engine to come in next month).

 

Rich - after seeing the miata in action at the autocross, I'd say take that one!! I think more people would be interested in seeing that than the sedan..

 

Here's what I'm going to do in regards to bugs:

I saw Mother's has a "trigger wash." So, upon arrival in Red Deer, I'm going to use Mother's Trigger wash AND spray bottle of water to wash front end of Pro (or bug littered areas). Then QD for shine.

And of course, cleaning the windows.

 

Who complained? We will have to take him out and have him shot.

Richard, I think the Miata would be fine and we can give you the centre as the place of honour.

Oh when I was talking with James from the dealership, he did mention something about the Miata club holding something there last week or this week. So I guess that group has stuff going too.

I'll give James a call tomorrow morning. He did say we would probably be using the empty lot next to his dealership as he also owns that land so I guess he has the space. As for contacting the Edmonton Miata group, silly question, but does he have contact numbers?

it sounds like there is some fun brewing for this event. maybe we should see if any rx7 clubs would like in on the action.

 

Wow, spoke to James at Gary Moe Mazda and this meet is turning into an event . He said he has a bar-b-que planned for us and the local radio station will be there. This is now a Mazda Show & Shine. What a guy .

He also said he will be clearing an area for us and he sounds excited. I told him it would be good to see the mods made to all of our vehicles as we are all Mazda enthusiasts and love our cars.

I’m really pumped now so let’s get on board and make this a great time by having a good turn out from both our cities .
