0k september 1st is the day if you can't make it so be it

 

oh crap I work on sundays... ( how about the 31st?? yeah yeah yeah then I MIGHT be able to make it..
any weekend after the 24th is good jsut as long as it's not a sunday..

 

Saturdays are a write-off for me. Work gets in the way of SO much these days...

 

Is this the 'for sure' date. If it is then cool. Let's make it the 1st then. What about September 2nd? That's a monday. It is a holiday for me. If not, the 1st it is.

The long weekend is not good for me....

I'll bet other people have plans for that weekend too. I liked the sound of the weekend after though (Sept 7 or 8). It doesn't look like everybody is gonna be able to make it on any given day...anyway, if you have it on the 1st, I hope y'all take lots of pics!!!

 

Whoa Nellie!!! As I said in my last post I have spoken to the dealer in Red Deer so why not wait to hear back from him which should be today. Plus Long weekend is probably toast for most people.

 

just said sept 1st to get back on topic and end the indeciseivness, but it did not seem to work. anyway I'll go whenever.

same reason everyone in Calgary isn't jumping at the change to Drive to edmonton might as well pick a central location..

 

Whoo Hoooo we be meeting!!!!

I finally got the call back from the Sales Manager at Gary Moe Mazda in Red Deer. No problem meeting on September 7th. I asked about the Sunday but they are not open.

At the moment because he is so busy with getting the dealership up and running he is not able to do too much for us aside from giving us the space. However, he would like to do something with us in the future. I suggested something along the lines of maybe having prizes for the best Protege and best P5. Maybe a placque or some such thing and he said sure.

So bottom line is that we are in. Red Deer look out . Hey would that not look cool with a line of P5 and Poteges coming from Edmonton and Calgary. It would look like some of their ads .

 

Sounds great!! Now all I have to worry about is getting the danged bugs off that I know are gonna collect from the highway drive!!

 

How bout the Calgary crew all meet in the morning say at 8-8:30am at McMahon Stadium?

 

Oh yeah, meeting times woould be a good idea. I suggested mid morning around 10 or 11 am. Maybe we can all get some lunch after in Red Deer. Do you want fries with that? I'm kidding, no burgers for me.
