gas or electric? was it an actual miata kit you got, or was it another car and you just put the miata body on? looks awesome btw.
i love RC.. can't wait for a P5 kit or body to come out. My first REAL rc was a Tamiya Falcon - it was a sad day when I finally pitched it a couple yrs ago. the chassis had waaay too many fractures along with numerous other broken parts issues to make it worth keeping and repairing.

As a nube to the group and the sole sedan (other than the MP3), it was quite exciting to see other Protege fans.
Learned a few things too.
Nice meeting everyone. Too bad I had to bail early and missed the Sylvan Lake drive.

I already have mine on PR5OWNER! Besides, if we all go as fast as you do on the #2 we would have to get more stickers because they would peel off!

Agreed 90210brandon - I had to hold Jayrox back from trying to keep up with Mesoh and PR5OWNER... I want to keep our stickers and our licenses

Hi all
Sure was good meeting others from this board and being able to put faces to nicknames. Good to know that there are others out there as crazy as we are about our P5 .
We had a look at the pictures we took when we got home and most of them came out really good but a few others, when we were zoom-zooming , were a bit shaky as I guess the road was not as smooth as we thought and it bounced the camera. Oh well. How does pr5owner drive and take pictures at the same time?
Jayrox and Protege_cat I have that pic of the two of you in your moon roof and it looks great. I'll have to post so everyone can have a look right!
I am also setting up my Protege 5 web page as I figured I have a bunch of photos to put up and it would make it easier to post them there instead of swamping the board.

Yeah, well, based on the original thread on this event...you know who to blame for that...names and all. But then again, you can't expect to out-attend two clubs that have been around for a long time and do have a lot of members (you now know, as I gave you copies of our newsletter).
Anyway, as I said at the event, great job Chris.

As neromancer said to me, we should have another local meet before the snow flies. I would not even mind driving down to Calgary for a meet if it is on a weekend as I can stay at some friends there.

Thanks for the kudos Richard but I think now I could have done better. I think I should have PM'ed everyone in our little group here and let them know, provided they check their PM, and maybe that would have increased the turnout.
