Before and after dyno is CRUCIAL...it'll let you know exactly what you've gained from your $150.

I really can't wait for mine and some new cams.

No they do not but jim ellis mazda is directly across the street (i can see the new miata's from my service drive) but we have a working relationship with most of the dealers around the area so i get good deals on everything. In fact my service director just went up the street to buy a Caymen S and they said normally they cant give discounts because the car is so new and the want he is buying is a special order one but Jim ellis himself came out and gave talked to him and gave him a $1500 discount on it

Well i got the intake manifold installed today. I will have pictures maybey tomorow seeing as how its snow/sleeting right now in GA (go figure it was 70 degrees a week and a half ago). But i got some test driving in before the roads got wet. There is alot more torque in the middle and up high especially under high load and full boost. High end HP has definatly increased as the car seems to keep going where as before it started to run out of a little steam up there in the 6.5k range.

One of the things i realy enjoyed was that not only is the intake manifold ALOT lighter than the stock MSP one but it frees up a bunch more space and makes things look a little neater. Install was a piece of cake the only trouble was getting the EGR pipe off the intake manifold. Took 4 hours including a pizza break and a half hour trip to lowes.

Speaking of for the people that do not want run a EGR pipe you can cap the egr outlet on the manifold with a 1/2" female pipe cap

Pictures as promised. Also i did more testing today at 7.1psi low boost setting i am just barely keeping traction in second gear and i can now spin the wheels in the 1-2 shift where as before it wasnt possible and i had plenty of traction in second gear (my clutch is pretty shot from the last owner so it does not grab hard in between shifts)

I figured i would throw in what a real intake manifold looks like from my old car:

hahaha, love the last pic...you should see what that manifold looks like now....that's it been ported/polished/bbb'd and getting powdercoated!

That new manifold is much smaller...I bet it saves 10lbs just in weight! Looks good also. I'm going to get one as well but I've got so much going on right now I have to prioritize.
