The Zex 82021 kit would be the best way to go. It is a very safe setup and easy to install.

nos on a regular 3

i currently run a dry kit on my 3.with all the bolt-on's(cold air,headers,cat delete,cat back exhaust and a 40 shot)i ran a 14.68 at 96 mph with a 2.4 60 foot time.i now have drag radials and have run at the local 1/8th mile track(1/4 mile track under construction)i cut a 1.889.so with a regular 3 you can still have economy,and straight line numbers equal to the speed.have fun

The laws are different in most states. In VA it is not legal to have the bottle hooked up on state roads. You would have to check your area to find out about your state.

I would use a Zex 82021 wet kit or NX 20923-10 wet kit. Both come with 10 pound bottles.

The Zex is a little easier to install because it has 1 control box to mount instead of the 2 solenoids. Other then that they would be basically the same.

naa man,it's a peice of cake.i recommend going with the wilson manifold brand.they are one of the best.personally,i mounted my bottle behind my seat,and depending on where u live,fill it with 9 lbs to be on the safe side(in case heat brings bottle pressure too high).that's why i recommend the wilson manifold kit.their bottles have a 3,000 psi safety burst valve compared to companies like n.o.s., that have 1,500.(950 optimal).it's about $500 for all the componennts(including the wide open throttle box that activates the solenoid when the throttle is wide open).find your mounting location 4 the bottle,run your supply line to the nitrous solenoid,run the nozzle line to nozzle(mount nozzle 8 inches from your m.a.f. sensor)connect your activation box,and sit back and enjoy.i've been running a big jet for 9 months,no problem.i monitor all my air/fuel ratio readings from my a.e.m. wideband oxygen sensor hook up.it's funny how lean our cars run driving daily.optimal is 14.7 to 1.our cars run fron 16.2-16.8(enriching between shifts)and when the variable valve timing kicks in(5,500)bam-rich.so untill you hit the magic rpm when the v-tec kicks in,you'll have a period of leanness,but only for like 1 1/2 seconds,which will hurt nothing.i recommend you get a wideband oxygen sensor to monitor your car's a/f ratio.every car is different.that's how you tune a dry kit to it's maximum jet.don't go any leaner than 13.0-1 on the spray,you'll be more at risk to burn something,but i know tuner guys that run as lean as 15.5-1 for the short 1/4 mile burst.i want my engine to last,and it's been 9 months,30 bottles later,no problems.n.o.s. can be addicting though,so you gotta have discipline with it.i use a fill a month.so $40 a month.good luck.any questions,i'll be happy to answer them.i'm a master technician,and have been working on and souping cars up for 15 years.i won't steer you wrong.

oh yeah.start out with the dry kit,unless you like blowing up your intake manifold.the problem with a wet kit on out type og intake is fuel dropplets.look at your throttle body.air comes in it and flows str-8 downwards,then runs upwards.this is how the factory designed the engine to run with low end torque and still have volume to make high end h.p.our factory manifolds are called down-swept intakes because the air flows in the throttle body(which if you look at your individual intake runners) is level with them,but that air-flow is swept downward then back upward,this is where a wet kit will get you in trouble.because the cooling blows on the intake,it's hot.when you spray a wet kit,it is supposed to combine the n.o.s.which is a gas,with the fuel,whech is liquid.when a wet kit is sprayed,that combination might mix going into the inake,but when it hit's that warm manifold,they separate(go on youtube and look for nitrous explosions,you'll see a cobalt blow the manifold right off the cylinder head.that's because he sprayed it off the line and bam.now i have heard of people sparying at above 4,000 when the air is flowing fast enough to not have a chance to puddle up,but to me,it,s not worth finding out.you can spray a little more with a wet kit,bit let's face it,a 40 h.p. shot is 25% of what our stock engines put out.that's a pretty big gain.i would boost my car,but too expensive and too hard to tune.n.o.s. is the way to go
