Will one of you guys that got Andy's header PLEASE dyno your engine b4 and after, if possible? Be nice to know what numbers it's pulling. If no numbers, a butt dyno report.

Yeah, yeah, I know. Matt's posted some already. No, I don't have one.

i already have mine on and my car hasn't been dyno'd so i can't get you a before and after, however, i can tell you my car was running at 16.47 (best time) in the quarter mile, and I should be running it at the track again tomorrow evening, so i'll let you know how that goes if you want..

very nice...THAT is a better indicator of what power you're making. Your dyno could show a 50hp ioncrease but how well does it translate at the track!

oops, sorry guys, my best time was not 16.47 it was 16.48 (@ 83.72mph) .. i must have typed it in too quick and didn't realize it.. but either way, i'm happy with the 16.48 (for now) and hope the wagner header shaves a tad more off of that number!!

I'll keep you updated!!

(ps: that's on stock tires/wheels, interior, etc.. just as my car is on the street).

okay guys, here's my times from tonight:

16.08 @ 85.29 MPH (2.303 60')
16.09 @ 85.38 MPH (2.325 60')

so i'm loving the new header!! I have a feeling if I would have stayed a bit longer, when the temp dropped outside (it was mid 80s when I got there) I could have broken into 15s??

Damn!! very nice! You are now officially faster than me! and....now officially on my **** list!

Yeah 15's are just a cool night away. You could do what I did and put a pair of baby spares on the rear and drop another 10th right there.

I still haven't installed the header but I was wondering should we use some type of anti-seeze to protect and for all of you that still don't know the torque specs here they are:

19-28 N*m for the top manifold bolts

19-28 for the precat bolts

yeah, antie seize is always great but if you use it make sure to check the bolt tightness after a few hundred miles to make sure they dont back off any.

If you use anti-seize, try to get nickel based stuff; the standard copper/silver stuff that Permatex sells thru. parts stores is good for about 1600 deg. F (not sure if that's peak or continuous - I'd imagine it's a thermal peak value instead of sustained temp).

Plus, the nickel based stuff plays much better with stainless steel.

Get this if you can: http://www.permatex.com/products/ind...ze%20Lubricant

BTW, 19-28 N*m is about 10.3 - 20.7 lb/ft

Hell of a range if you ask me though; easy on them studs kids!
