Zed, I already upgraded the account under the guise that the fee's were only related to CC purchases....this was not the case and when payments started coming in for the GB everyone had random fee's associated with it. I already had to refund everyone's payments and downgrade my account to get everyone's money back correctly.

Since I'm new to taking international payments I'm not sure how I can help. Do you have a local friend with a regular paypal account whom you can have pay me and then you can work out with him how he wants to be re-paid??

Unfortunately, I don't directly know anyone in the states who could help out. The best option might be for me to send you an international money order directly to your bank account - it will take a week to clear though and I'll need your bank account details. I can have that organised either today (Thursday) or tomorrow at the latest. What do you think?

hmm...I don't know how I feel about that. I'm not keen on giving up my bank details to someone overseas. Besides once the money order arrives in my mailbox I'm placing the order.

Can you do a cash advance on your credit card to your checking account...then paypal the money from your checking account to me?

no i don't think he can do that either. Apparently, unless your account is verified, the only way you can send money is credit/debit card. I didn't find this out until friday, and started the verification process then. Unfortunately, this takes a couple of days to go through so hopefully tonight I will be verified. If I am overlooking something, please let me know.

I'm unsure how to handle international orders if they aren't direct paypal payments. I've never had this come up before!!

That's fair enough. I think you can also send Western Union money orders overseas to be picked up at an WU agent location, so no bank account details needed. I'll check about that today in my lunch break and get back to you. Or would it be possible for me to Paypal Wagner direct?

It won't work to paypal wagner directly because I'm getting special pricing for the GB and if you try to pay with a CC there will be extra fee's associated with it....a currency exchange costs 2.5% and a credit card purchase is $.30+$3%....it's just too complicated.

Let me know about the Western Union money transfer....I've never done this but I'm more than willing to try it out to help you get in on this....pm me with anything you find out.

I have a couple of questions about these headers.

Will they change the sound of my exhaust at all? Right now my pro is completely stock - I didn't know if any new growl might be able to sneak past that stock muffler or not.

Also, Matty mentioned polishing a set of headers. Is this something difficult to do? What would be involved, buffers, compounds, etc.? Is SS going to stay pretty much the same color after it is installed even with those high exhaust temps? If all it takes is time and elbow grease to polish these up it would definitely be worth the extra effort. Any mod worth doing is worth doing right.

I just checked with the post office about the Western Union Transfer - the fees are a bit ridiculous so I'm going to have to give this group buy a miss I'm afraid. I don't want to hold the rest of you up and its not an urgent buy for me, so I'll organise it a later date with Wagner direct. Thanks for trying though Roddimus.

I wouldn't waste my time trying to polish them, unless you like doing it OFTEN! I've got stainless pipes on my bike, and the head pipes tend to blue very quickly after being polished. I've done them numerous times, and I've only put about 8000 miles on the bike. The only reason I do it is because I've only got 2 of them, they're really easy to take off, and they're just a simple pipe with a curve in them.

Yeah polishing won't last long but since I have a shop doing powdercoating and polishing I figured I'd do it for kicks. The reason the price was so hgih is due to the maount of surface area and difficulty of doing it all nicely. It would be a one time project for me....I'm sure once I get started I'd regret it and just force myself to finish.
