Woodward Ave
My Mazda sale rep was in uesterday and I spoke with him. Today he is testdriving the MS Pro in Detroit. I'm still might make the trip on the 17th for myself, I don't know yet. Give me some feedback.

Mazda Booth
The MS Pro and Mazda6 are going to be located on Woodward just south of 15 mile rd (Maple Ave) on the East side of the road. They are going to be driving them on the strip that day and night so keep your eye out for them if there not at the booth. What time does this thing start. I'm thinking of coming down and I've never been to this event before? Give me some more info please.

There really isn't any official start time. It's pretty much just show up whenever you feel like it. Woodward will be closed off by the cops at 9pm tonight and 9pm tommorrow. But if you head out to woodward north of 15-mile around midnight, that where all the real action will be.

We may go after my son's little league picnic. For those out of the know 13 mile rd. and woodward is the core corner of action and congestion on cruise Saturday. It is super busy 2 miles north and south of there. Roads that parallel Woodward are hard to find because it runs on an angle to the standard N-S & E-W grid. The Cruise often grinds to a halt and if you have a stick and bad knees (like me, and I still bought a stick) it can be torturous. Best bet is to hook up somewhere of interest, park the car, and let the show go by you! Woodward and 15 mile is in the town of Birmingham and the one year we watched from there it was great. 1/2 mile south of 15 mile, the Woodward bypass rejoins Old Woodward (goes thru the shopping district) and you get double the exposure if you are in the median. For those with car A/V capabilities local channel 7, WXYZ, has live TV coverage from 7 pm to 9.
