Michigan Mazda Owners Take Notice - Emissions Decision Due This Week

Hey, fellow MI Mazda fanatics. Stay tuned to the Detroit News this week. By Wednesday, our state is expected to decide whether or not emissions checks will be mandated beginning in 2006. If they decide to go back to inspections, it means that they could inspect under the hood of your vehicle, and require a sniffer test on the rolls. I would suggest waiting a few days before placing an order on a downpipe, etc...

Hey, check it out:

That's right, the EPA is not requiring a return to the emissions testing. So, go ahead and order that downpipe with confidence. Rock on Detroit!

I always liked the backroads between M-23 and Chelsea. Lots of curves, and close to home. The Irish Hills were always fun on my motorcycle, too.

Never tried out the roads near Big Rapids, but there are some good ones north of there. I'll have to check it out sometime. Thanks for the tip!
