April 20th would work. I get out of class at 12 and can leave right then. Are we still shooting for busse woods? Directions? What would you like me to bring?

 

I won't know for a little while if April 20th will work for me...I'll be there if I can.

But here's a radical suggestion:

Why don't you guys just go ahead and plan a meet for April 20th, and then maybe we could plan ANOTHER meet for later in the spring/summer when other folks--who aren't around now--might be in back in town and able to attend.

Call me crazy....(and you'd be right!)

 

Both dates work for me. That's a good idea, how about two meets?

 

How about the April 20th meet we all just hang out and look at everyone's car. No cookout. We can still meet at Busse Woods and maybe take some pics. You know, maybe bring sodas. And then in June we plan a cookout. Sound good?

 

April 20th at 1pm. I'll still cook...it's too easy to pass up.

June for the 2nd meet should work out too! Full blown cookout for that one!

Has there been a final date set for the Illinois meet. I live in SE WI and am new to the forum. I'd love to come to a meet, if it's still on. Anyone have any solid info on this??? April 20th or May 18th are the 2 dates being tossed around. Please let me know. Thanks.

 

I think we are meeting April 20th at 1:00. Some people are bringing food to grill. We are meeting at Busse Woods on 72. Then trying to get a summer meet together.(June 2?)

You are going to be upset with me. I have a first communion to attend that day (wife just told me....) So I am not going to make the date I set in the first place. (Pete dodges the rotten eggs being thrown at him) If you all can still make the date no reason to cancel on my part. I could make it the 13th at 1:30pm as an alternate, or possibly the 27th at 2pm would work for me too.

We may need to accept that not all of us can make this thing, but I damn sure want to try! I just can't do the 20th...

As far as having a drive, what about an informal one set up for Saturday night, April 5th? We could all meet Sang (Chris) at Blockbuster in Palatine and take it from there?

I will be creating and posting a map the first week of April. Hope to have it posted here by 4/7/02. Text directions will also be included.

I will bring a digital camera to record the event (whenever we have it), it's only a 1 megapixel type, so if someone has better, please bring it!
