Yeah, I don't know...very mysterious. I noticed it yesterday, and e-mailed the moderator dude.

...and now I notice that I'm back down to post #1, even though my old post total was approaching 20 or so.

Must be some hiccup in the system.

 

they better recover the thread........we had all kinds of info on people who wanted to come and now if we lost that then I will be really pissed off.....

 

My recommendation:

If site administrators can't give us a satisfactory answer soon, then I say we just start a new thread labeled 'Chicago-area Meet' or something similar ASAP.

New people looking for info about a meet aren't necessarily going to check in a thread labeled "What Happened?"

 

Let's try to start this thread again....

the date that most people agreed on for the meet was May 18.
How many people can make it for sure and how many still need time to decide.....

Let's get this going again......

Dale, I got your email. I had noticed that this thread and a few others were missing when I got home from work yesterday. I posted this in the moderator area, but no one seems to know why this happened. I merged these two threads under the Illinios Protege meet title. May 18th at 1:00pm, we're still on.

 

I will be there May 18th, 1:00pm at Busse Woods, I am bringing the grill and 2 chickens.

Thanks for the offer to restore post counts. Since I had just a measly 20 or so, it's not that crucial to me.

Our friend Mr. Webmaster, OTOH, seems royally bummed.
