You should try living in Minnesota, this time of the year just
sucks. Plus, the dumb-*** basterds that plow the roads throw
salt down, nothing like having your car rust after one year

It was about 10 degrees. I hate cold weather. In MO one day you can clean the hell out of your car and it looks sweet. The next day it is 25 degrees and snowing.

10 degrees? That's balmy, this morning it was -10 plus a -30 windchill. Try scraping your windows when it's that frickin cold. To top it off, my midnight blue P5 (that's only a week old) is white from the salt. It's been too cold to wash the car in any wash except the $15 dollar ones. Plus I don't really want my doors freezing shut as I don't have a garage.
Bummer about your windshield though, I've never heard of one cracking from cold temps. Did you have a crack or rock chip in it before? I know that the OEM windsheilds aren't very good. My wife's year old Pro is pretty pitted up already.
